Q. What Plugins have you developed and what do they do?
A.
My two most popular Plugins, Quest Timer and Target Info, I adopted from Jer when he stopped playing AC.

Quest Timer keeps track of when you last completed quests, so you know when you can next do the quest, along with many other features.
Target Info shows the debuffs cast on an enemy, and recommends what vuln to use on an enemy.

Three other popular Plugins of mine are Spellbar Saver, SSSort, and GoArrow.

Spellbar Saver lets you save and load various Spellbar configurations, and transfer them between characters.
SSSort will sort Scrolls and Salvage in your pack.
GoArrow will point an arrow towards coordinates you specify.

I've also developed a few other Plugins. You can get more info at my website;

Q. What was/is the 1st Plugin/3rd party Application you programmed?
A.
My first Plugin was AllegChat. It simply changed the color of allegiance chat and let you filter out allegiance chat. I made it right after allegiance chat came out, when the chat was a reddish color that was easily lost in combat text.

Q. What inspired you to write it/them?
A.
Asheron's Call is a great game, and I wanted to be able to make it even better. I've also always enjoyed programming.

Q. What was the biggest obstacle you had/have to overcome in writing your Plugins/3rd party Applications?
A.
One obstacle was the lack of documentation for Decal. Zyrca's tutorials were excellent in getting me started, but there was still a lot that I had to figure out by trial and error, which can be time consuming and frustrating at times.

Another difficulty was to have to debug the Plugins without the help of a debugger. I won't go into detail, but anyone who's programmed before knows how useful a debugger can be.

Q. What is your favorite language to program in?
A.
I suppose I'd go with VB6.. I prefer C-style syntax and the power that C++ offers, but for what I've done with programming so far, VB6 has been easier to use (it is called Basic after all ;-). However, I bet I’d like C# if I took the time to learn it.

Q. How long have you been programming in general/with Decal Applications?
A.
I took my first programming course in PASCAL five and a half years ago. I started doing Decal programming just over a year ago. Most of the programming I'd done until I started with Decal had been for classes in school.

Q. Have you felt the overall contribution of the decal programming community has been positive on the game?
A.
Yes I do. The benefit from Plugins far outweighs any "bad" things that people have written Plugins to do.

Q. What Plugins/3rd party Application other than your own, do you use?
A.
Heres what I use;
Bandit Sight/2, Universal Salvaging Tool (UST), Nerfus Buffus II, Oracle of Dereth, Exception, gHUD, DHS (Decal Hotkey System), AC MSN, TreeStats 2, RoboChef.

Q. What can we look forward to in upcoming versions of your Plugins/3rd party Applications?
A.
I don't currently have anything planned for future versions =)

Q. Do you still play AC and if so what Server/s do you frequent?
A.
I have an active account on Leafcull, but I don't play AC very much any more.

Q. What is your favorite Plugin/3rd party Application that you have written?
A.
It’s so hard to choose! My overall favorite would have to be Quest Timer. It’s my most extensive Plugin, and has grown so much from its beginnings.
